About the role
The Partner Acquisition Team member will support Vetster in sourcing, recruiting and onboarding qualified Veterinarians (DVMs) and Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) to the platform.
As a marketplace, Vetster seeks to support both DVMs and RVTs in serving clients and pet parents in sourcing qualified online care. The Partner Acquisition Team member will be responsible for building that supply of DVM and RVT talent in their assigned territory, and building a funnel of qualified leads through email, phone and video conferencing technology. The successful candidate will understand how to build a top-heavy sales funnel in order to meet a specified sales goal.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and capabilities:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Self-motivated self-starter comfortable working on their own schedule/ flexible hours
3. Comfortable conducting online demonstrations of a tech product
4. Excellent organizational skills; ability to track success in an organized, orderly way
5. Working knowledge of the veterinary industry an asset, but otherwise willing to be trained
6. 1-2 years in a sales role, responsible for meeting an objective sales target an asset but not required
Contract Duration and Compensation
4 Month contract running August 17 - December 18 with possibility for extension and/or promotion within the company. Work on your own schedule/ flexible hours. The successful candidate must provide his or her own phone and computer.
A base commission model will be offered. A flat honorarium of $1000 CAD will be offered to cover any related phone or internet expense, in addition to a commission of $20 CAD per DVM or RVT who signs up and is onboarded to the platform. OTE is expected to be $5000 CAD.
